The Data Protection Act means that companies are responsible for the security of personal information. This not only applies to computer data, but paper filing systems as well.

Any information which is acquired with the intention of being kept in any kind of retrievable system, is covered by the Act. Further to this, the Act makes it a company’s responsibility to securely dispose of any redundant data. In the case of paper, this means shredding.

All our collections are made by security-checked staff and use secure containers. All paper will be shredded that same day in one our specially customized vans, for extra peace of mind. We can issue a certificate of disposal if required.
